NIC Saiha has also developed the website for the district which is inaugurated by Sri S.Hiato Honourable Cabinet Minister I/c Industry, PHE, Tourism etc.. Government of Mizoram and It provides history, district profile, administrative setup, tourism and other useful statistical information on the district. Various MIS have also been linked to the website to provide information of beneficiaries and other details related to various schemes implemented in the district. Designed and hosted by NIC, the website of Saiha District, http://saiha.nic.in , is very informative and apart from providing the details related to land, climate, history, fairs and festivals, tourist places, contact details, various forms, citizen charter etc., it also provides information regarding the various initiatives undertaken by the district administration for the benefit of citizens.

NIC has set up Local Area Network between NIC Office and DC Office Complex including Election Branch. This Network provides easy file transfer and easy communication between the various users at district administration. NIC installs and configures NICNET and antivirus softwares at all of the Personal Computers connected with LAN with the help of support staff from 3i Info Tech.
NIC also conducted training on How to use LAN and email /internet in its VC Room with all the district staff and MADC staff.

NIC use to install hardware and software in all the NIC Staff and DC Staff by the help of 3i-Infortech support staffs. Any maintenance and repairing of LAN and configuration of server etc. works are performed by Mr. Colin Khepow , Engineer and Mr. ChonoChai. from 3i Infotech.

All the departmental heads are informed and ordered by Deputy Commissioner ,Saiha for submitting latest information related to their respective department with recent activities, achievements, Minutes of Meetings or any Press Releases along with Photgraphs. NIC Saiha therefore use to receive documents from all the departments of Saiha and upload it to the district website so that every body in the world can get in touch with the latest activities at Saiha District. DIA,Saiha is responsible for designing and hosting of the website and also for dynamic up gradation of the same.

There are several centrally sponsored schemes have been implemented at Saiha District of Mizoram. Some of them are Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act(MGNREGA),Backward Region Grant Fund(BRGF), India Awas Yojana(IAY) etc. Govt of India,in Collaboration with National Information Center has provided Management Information System (MIS) for each of these schemes so that each and every record of actual work done and processed can be tracked from one place and citizens of India can view all the implentation strategies,conditions,guidelines and current status including Fund position. This introduces transparency to the Government to Citizen(G2C) services and helping the citizens to get their right to information in hand. NIC,Saiha use to monitor the status of records entered by the Data Entry Operators from Both Saiha and Tuipang RD Blocks. It use to communicate with the DEOs and with NIC Delhi for synchronization of data. Playing a coordinator role,NIC Saiha use to upload backup data from various schemse like NREGA,BRGF,IAY to the National Server which thereafter been reflected in the live websites of corresponding Schemes. Scientific Officer,NIC Saiha and DIO,NIC Saiha Both keep an eye to the actual implementation of the Schemes in the District.

3i Infotech’s Consulting Services has been introduced in National Informatics Centre(NIC), Mizoram since 2008. The most important responsibility for 3i Infotech’s Consultants are supporting NIC in network connectivity. 3i Infotech’s provides comprehensive consulting expertise, technical support staffs for the rapid, successful implementation under National Informatics Centre in every District.
Work distribution and duty.
The responsibility for 3i Infotech’s Consulting Services Support Staffs are to provide internet and networking connectivity under the instruction of District Informatics Officer(DIO), NIC Centre to Deputy Commissioner Office and other departments within Saiha Town. Their duty and works have been assigned by DIO for better implementation of National Informatics Centre, Saiha District, Saiha.

Election Management Software - This software has a feature of three stage randomization as PER ECI guidelines and modules for. Polling parties appointment, Counting parties appointments and Micro observer appointments. Round the clock technical support was given to the districts. Thinking of assembly election without the support of NIC is a thing of past. The software fully meets the Election Commission of India guidelines regarding randomization of polling personnel, electronic voting machines, deployment of personnel,counting of votes etc. The final tansmission of election results using high speed state of art NICNET highlights the strong national data communication network established by NIC. The services, assumes high importance for the district administrator during such exercise. Numerous other National and State Government projects have been implemented by NIC, Saiha.
