Objective Horticulture Department has taken up various development schemes under State plan and Technology Mission(MM-II) as Fruits, vegetables, Spices, Floriculture, Plantation Crops and Mushroom
Achievement (a). The following seedling are distributed to the farmers under Area Expansion Scheme of Fruits (Technology Mission):-

1.    Banana Suckers 1,19,750 Nos
2.    Pineapple Suckers 53,400 "
3.    Assam lemon rooted cutting 18,500 "
4.    M. Orange Seedlings 79,300 "
5.    Coconut Seedlings 5,000 "
6.    Mango Grafted 7,000 "
7.    Coffee Seedlings 13,000 "
8.    Hatkora Seedlings 11,000 "
9.    Areca nut Seedlings I,16,000 "
10.    Grape rooted cutting 2,500 "
11.    Passion Fruit seedlings 42,000 "
12.    Avocado seedling 2,000 "
13.    Goose berry rooted 1,200 "
14.    Litchi (Polypotted) 2,000 "
15.    Papaya 200 grams

(b). The following are distributed under Area Expansion of spice (Technology Mission) as bellow :-

1.    Black pepper
2.    Betel vine rooted cutting
3.    Onion seed.
4.    Garlic
5.    Chilies

(c) Constructed 25 nos of Community water tank under Technology Mission for implementation of vegetable cultivation. The following seed are distributed to the farmers :-

1.    Cabbage
2.    French Bean.
3.    French Mustard
4.    Capsicum
5.    Broccoli
6.    Carrot.
7.    Lettuce.
8.    Knolkhol etc.

(d) Constructed 30 nos for low cost of Green House 1(one) no of Medium cost under floriculture Development (Technology Mission).

(e) Constructed 25 Kms of Horticulture link road at deferent places under state plan.

(f) Tools and Implements, organic mature, PP Chemical also distributed to the farmers.

(g) Saiha Horticulture Division. Covered 50 Hac. For Centre of excellence for Horticulture Mission at Saikah.
