The NHRC team headed by Member Shri Satyabrat Pal and accompanied by Dr Y L Tekhre, Director(Research) and Ms Mamta Singh,SSP visited Saiha under the “Human Rights Awareness Programme” during 14th to 18th March, 2010 and had interaction with a large cross section of people and had a workshop on 4 different topics consisting of Right to Food, Right to Custodial Justics, Right to Education and Right to Health and had also had separate discussion with MADC Executives and had visited Phura and Lawngban villages.
